Urea-melamine-formaldehyde resin
Ureamelamineformaldehyde resinUMF
Specifications 20.1-33578130-005:2012(grade А, grade B)
The product of urea polycondensation with ureaformaldehyde concentrate and melamine, is an aqueous suspension, non-flammable, non-explosive. The finished product contains 10% of melamine by weight.
UMF resin is produced for its usage in the manufacture of high density fiberboard, chipboard and plywood.
Grade A – is used in the production of high density fiberboard (HDF), chipboard and plywood that meet the requirements for formaldehyde emissions no higher than the grade of E-1.
Grade B – is used in the production of high density fiberboard (HDF), chipboard and plywood, with low formaldehyde emission corresponding to the class of ½E-1, E-0.
